Hi-Fi Corporation - MOST SHOCKING SERVICE AND NO ACCOUNTABILITY
A one star rating is even too kind, It has been a month of communicating and waiting for some sort of feedback and for our laptop to be replaced. A week ago we received the below and still nothing. How this group is still operational I have no idea. Your service is beyond shocking and you have hold no accountability. Your values that you stand for are just empty words. You honestly don't deserve to be in business. The customer deserves more!
Good day Thanks for being in contact with us and we apologies for the delay and inconvenience caused. We have logged a complaint on your behalf and the relevant department will assist further. JD COMPLAINTS: *** Kind Regards, Kenneth HiFi Corp Team
ORDER NUMBER :#*** number: Problem: I purchased the laptop in March this year. It will not turn on, keeps giving an error saying (a critical fault has occurred we will reboot for you). The serial number is S/N:NXHS5EA***CF273400 SNID: *** Acer Aspire 3 Complaint: 25th February - Bought a laptop online (order below) 2 March – Received laptop After a couple of weeks it starting giving problems. Eventually it would not switch on and kept giving an error. 3 May - Phoned Acer call Centre and was told to call A solutions 3 May – Tried to phone A solutions and received no reply. Call went unanswered 3 May - Emailed call Centre and spoke to Juanita. Told to call Acer direct. Told them we had and they said to call you (call logged ***4S) 3 May – Juanita told us that they need to order parts without even looking at the laptop and we would need to wait 3 weeks 17 May – phoned Acer call center again. They told me it does not make sense that they can order parts without even looking at the laptop. We must take it to our closest Hifi Corp to see how they can assist to try speed up the process 18 May – Took laptop to Baywest Hifi Corp. Explained we were desperate as my daughter uses the laptop for school and is about to write exams. Lance said he would escalate and would send it in to A solutions and speak to management 21 May – A solutions (Acer: 09073) - emailed that parts have arrived but Laptop is at the store 26 May – Got a phone call from Lance to say that the laptop parts have arrived and If I could collect it and take it to A solutions. I said they need to make sure as promised that they would courier it. How can they now expect the customer to come out and collect the laptop and take it to be fixed. I am now desperate after a month of trying to get things sorted. This is a new laptop that need to be replaced. Lance mentioned the motherboard, but was not sure. If they know that there is a fault with the laptop without even inspecting it as it is a common problem as stated by the repair centre, then that proves that it is defected and you are liable to please replace the unit as per the Section 56 of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) Please can you make sure this is sorted within the next 24 hours. I do not want a laptop that is fixed, I want a new laptop. Everything was done in our care to make sure that Laptop was properly looked after and protected.
