Hi Fi Corporation
we had purchased a 49" inch sansui television in December 2018 . On the 17/02/2020 at night the TV kept on getting hot and going off i called on the 18/02/20 in the morning and spoke to Thuli from the Hi Fi corporation Cornubia branch explained what had happened and she told me to bring the TV in for accessing , which i agreed , Then around 2:45 my child had contacted me saying when he put the TV on fire blew and the screen cracked on the far left side at then end i spoke to the manager named Neil at the cornubia branch he said bring it in for assessing which i agreed. As soon as i made arrangements for transport which was on the 29/02/2020 i took the TV in . I still had the box with the foam which kept the TV firm and safe with the remote still in the plastic. I received a call from the assessors who called from the Cornubia store on the 06/03/2020 insisting that the frame is cracked and bent and its negligence. As far as i know there was no bend frame or cracked frame. Now they giving me issues. i asked to Neil told him to assessor further he said it will cost R400 which i was unhappy about but said okay. He advised that the assessors will contact me on the 9/03/2020. No progress , no update, no professionalism what so ever, I don't think the assessors know how to treat clients just accusing clients. i will not accept this i want my TV repaired or replaced. Due to the fact they can not do business professionally
