Hi-fi Corp. above the consumer protection act

on 16 Oct 2014 i bought a Asus T100 tablet pc. i had it for about 3 months and then bought a sd card to expand the storage capacity. when i insert the card, the pc recognises it and it works with no problems, until you leave it for a while and then starts working again, the card is then not found on the system. you physically have to remove the card and re-insert it to be recognised by the system again. if you are lucky it goes ok for a day without doing it. i took it back to HI-fI Corp for a refund, because i dont want it to be repaired and then start giving other problems (which i believe to be my right under the CPA returns policy). i left it at the store to be assessed for 2 weeks. i went back today to get a refund, but the manager, dewald geler was called and he had this rude in your face attitude and said they will not refund me, but will rather repair and i can take it or leave it.(btw i have the contact number of another customer who heard how rude he was). im not his wife or one of his workers. i dont want it repaired, i want my money back, and will NEVER buy anything from HI-FI Corporation again in my life. i suppose i will get the cut and paste reply with a ref. no.
