<p> </p> <p> </p> <p>On 14 June 2017, my son, Heindich Claasen, app**** for credit at HiFi Corporation Helderberg Centrum. After submitting all relevant paperwork to HiFiCorp, he was granted R15 000.00 by HiFi Corporation. HiFiCorp submitted the paperwork to Head Office to submit on 15th June (in our presence) and gave us an official quotation qualifying him for R 14997.00. After several phone calls during the next few days we finally found that his credit rating was downgraded to R6 500.00 due to two credit applications submitted by HiFiCorp. We called Head Office after receiving this news, and spoke to a Clifford at JD group who admitted that it was due to two credit applications submitted to ITC by HiFiCorp as the first one was incomplete and lacked paperwork which was submitted to HiFiCorp by us (which they neglected to send). Having realised that they submitted a faulty request, HiFiCorp should have cancelled the first submission and resubmitted a new request. It is a great dissapointment that HiFiCorp could be so negligent with the ITC score of a prospective client. How many times did we contact the branch and even spoke to the branch manager (Mark) personally who promised to sort out all irregularities as soon as possible and still we received nothing but trouble and dissapointment. They knew that the first submission was only valid for 5 working days ( R15 000.00) and had to be cancelled as to not effect the credit score of the applicant. Second application (R6 500.00) due to HiFiCorp not taking responsibility for their mistakes and cancelling their first faulty application.</p> <p> </p>
