Hi-Fi After Sales Service

In 2021, I bought 11 Laptops from HiFi, and was reliably assured that I'd be assisted with registration of warranty and this never happened. In 2023, I go to the shop with the assumption that the warranty is still valid....low and behold I am told that it doesn't as it was not registered and told to register. I did this. I then sent the laptop again and was told that it cannot be fixed because the certificate of warranty and the date the laptop is booked in are too close and that is the reason.

It boggles the mind that one would buy a laptop and waive the benefit of the full 3 years by simply not registering.

I then had to deal with the East London HiFi staff and Managers who offered little comfort to find an amicable solution and instead flat out refused to assist.

The overall after sales experience was appalling. I'd advise anyone who wants to buy from them to fist exhaust other retail shops which sell the same products.

Warranty: 1/5 You forfeit any cover if not registered.

Taking it back for Repairs: 0/5 No technician on site.
