Faulty TV

Hi brough sinotec 43 Inc hd TV from hi- fi corp festival mall TV has poor picture qaulity and red blur . I contacted sinotec and they said TV is faulty I must return it to store and get exchange . I phoned hi- fi corp and they say they must send TV to be tested which takes anything between 14 - 21 days . This is very poor customer service when Thier manufacturer states Thier product is faulty why can't I be offered a straight swop on a faulty TV set
