False Advertising
On the 07 May 2015 I made an online purchase on an HP laptop model HP NB PAV15 I5-4 4GB500GB via the website (10 laptops available). I spoke to a Princess (head office) on the 07th to make arrangements to pay for the laptop. On the 08th i called again to confirm if I can make payment at the store in Gateway unfortunately that was not possible. However while enquiring about the laptop I was told that this was a demo model being sold. No where on the website it mentions that this is a demo model. I feel strongly that this should have been mentioned on the website page. If this was purchased as gift and arrives in a poor state (scratches) this would have left a poor impression on me eg. for this reason I think this should have been mentioned. As a customer this has left the impression that Hi-Fi cannot be trusted in what is being advertised and the manner in which it was advertised. It is indeed frustrating as I have wasted more than 2 days on a \good deal"that was falsely advertised and further to this why order online and be told that you will have to check for stock if you already have10 available on the website...very disappointed and frustrated- will not shop at Hi-Fi again."""
