Failed to Deliver on the promised date

I ordered a Sound bar on the 27/12/2025, i received an sms that they will deliver on the 30/12/2025. I need it for new years eve.

Nobody called me neither has it been delivered. I called twice today they are saying they logged a ticket which will be responded to in 24 hours. Why did they promise to deliver on the 30/12/2025 knowing they will not. Now i must wait 24 hours to be called and what should i do for todays festivities. When i asked for the couriers details, they states it is an an inhouse courier yet they cannot contact them and the courier has not updated why it was not delivered. Hi-FI Corp has bad service and does not keep up with their own delivery promise.
