***** and Suspect

HiFi Corp ran a Black Friday guessing competition. I was correct in guess the price so naturally, I was keen to know who the winner was as it may have been me. The initial announcement was said to be after 12 December. I followed-up on 6 January. The response to me was that the winner was “announced privately” - the very definition of the term, announced is as follows, “make a formal public statement about a fact, occurrence, or intention” so announced privately is an oxy*****. It naturally led me to question the authenticity of this competition as other winners had been announced for other competitions.

The issue was not handled well as if the information such as the response from the JD Group was initially given – I think none of this would have happened, as they emailed to explain all of this.

That being said, I would like to see proof of the winners’ guess on the comment section.

My suspicions have been increased by the fact that ONLY after I questioned all of this was a winners’ pic suddenly made public, and since then, I have been blocked from commenting on their page altogether.

Not the behavior of anybody who has nothing to hide.
