Delivery not honored

I am highly disappointed on the promises that the fridge i ordered online will be delivered already last week Friday, and still not after numerous calls from hifi Corp staff. My food is rotten as a result of not having a fridge in time. Why did they call me and raised my expectations high instead of sticking to the 2-7 days i would have gone and buy elsewhere
