Defective TV and they refuse to exchange it

I bought a Sinotec TV at Hifi corp Wonderpark mall on the 24th of November 2022. On the 2nd of December the legs gave in, broke/cracked and my TV fell on the floor.

When I went to the store for an exchange because it seems as if the legs couldn’t carry the weight of the TV hence they eventually cracked and caused my TV to fall, I was insulted by the sales people who claimed to be managers. Their names are Fhatuwani a guy and Theodora a lady. Fhatuwani even insinuated that I pushed the TV to the floor. Imagine how does an adult like me vendalise her own property. They even refused to come get the TV after such a complaint and said I should bring it to the store.

Today 03 December, I took the TV back to the store, they took it in claiming they will take it for an assessment and refused to exchange it for a new one. Mind you they sold me a TV whose legs only lasted a week, gave in, cracked and broken and my Tv fell this compromising the quality of my TV.

I have never been so insulted in my life by people who insult customers esp Hifi Corp Wonderpark Mall.

Lastly I tried calling the customer care centre today, I was on hold for a whole hour, a joke. And didn’t even manage to speak to a consultant.

Hifi Corp is the pits. I don’t know what business they are running and if the people they employ actually know how to assist customers
