Damaged Dishwarer - 2 months, No Refund (HI-FI Corp)
We bought a dishwasher 3-months ago. It was delivered damaged and the supplier picked it up. We opted for a refund via HQ, it’s been 3- months of us requesting the business to refund our money. I spoke to Imran at JD Tech who kept saying he is not receiving our emails that include the banking details that should process our refund. I asked him to confirm if they have been having email server issues with their emails since it seems it’s only our emails that he doesn’t receive (we sent emails to him on April 5th and May 26th with the requested banking info). He could not provide me with any other form of contact to send this info to him and only shared an email address for a colleague of his Mokgadi after speaking to him this morning June 14th. After almost half an hour on the phone with him telling me how he didn’t get our emails 100 different ways, now all of a sudden he got my email that I sent while on the call with him this morning and conveniently due to his internal policy this will take 10-business days to process the refund. I need HI-FI Corp to respect and honor it’s customers, respect the clients that use their hard earned money to buy your products as a brand we trusted at the time and hold your employees and team accountable when it’s time to rightfully process client refunds at a fault of your own due to a faulty product. If we owed your store money, we’d be liable for interest on that R6k for the dishwasher, are you liable for 2 months interest on the refund that should’ve been processed 2 months ago to your clients? Is this accountability as a brand?
