Customer

I bought 2 inverters online from Hi-Fi corporation, I paid in full and it was around about +- R26 000. The Inverters were in a store in the Vaal area so they had to be shipped to me in Cape Town. They were going to separate locations in Cape Town. On the day of arrive only one inverter had made it to Cape Town and the other one somehow went to PE. I unpackaged the inverter I received to find the legs bent, so bad they it could not move and the inverter on top of the batteries was stuck on so extremely skew making it look cheap and like it was not out together properly. I then got in contact Hi-Fi where I was told to bring it into one of the shops. It is so heavy that it is impossible for me to bring it in, this took multiple times telling them that I could not bring it. We then spoke about the inverter on top and i was basically told that they all stuck on randomly and it’s basically lucky if you get a straight one. I have now been trying to sort this out with them for 3 days. They want to collect it, take it back to the Vaal where they can investigate it, then wait for more stock to arrive and then they will send another one to me. I bought the inverter due to the horrific loadshedding we are having, I have paid +- R26 000 to basically get one broken inverter and one inverter sent to the wrong place. I have been trying to speak to a manager for 2 days now and still nothing, no attempt to get hold of me. It’s just ridiculous the way they are treating this situation, do they have no customer loyalty ? Are all their products no matter the price treated like this ?
