CANCELLATION OF AN ORDER AND NOW THEY REFUSE TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK

I would like to share my ongoing battle with Hi Fi Corporation for an order I cancelled, they confirmed it was cancelled but to date hereof no refund. The total owing to myself is R12 200.00 which is a huge amount of money.

Upon opening my online profile and this I always do I opened it as Ria. This is the name everyone calls me although my birthname is Maria.

I had to provide them with bank confirmation letters etc to state the account belongs to me which I did and now they refuse to refund my money as I am Ria on their side and my bank account Maria. My refund will be withheld.

In other words they are refusing to pay my money. I have never received an order, it was cancelled before they even prepared it to be delivered. I am told they are not giving my money back.

I then placed a call to the director of Pepkor in Cape Town Mr Pieter Erasmus's receptionist and I was given a Jhb number. I got through to a very nice lady who promised she will make sure it is sorted out today but then I received another letter to say my complaint will be looked into with absolutely no commitment to refund my money once again.

This is my money it is theft, they are *****ing from me, taking my money as a pensioner. I had to go buy another fridge with money I borrowed as I am without a fridge and no money either.

I will report this and I will claim compensation and all costs as I have seen many people battling and having very bad experiences. I will also report this to the National Consumer Board immediately as I am taken for a fool and nobody is getting back to me with regards to my money.
