Be ware of by electronic goods from Hi Fi corp

In the space of 8 months I have attempted 5 times to acquire a reasonable tablet/ cellphone. As experience has been in the case of an issue, the service provider blames the device manufacturer and visa versa. To counteract this, I thought it wise to use a device provided by Service provider- hence bought a Vodacom 7 3g tablet, extended warranty and cover. On three occasions the sets had to be returned and inevitably be replaced with another faulty device. After the 3rd time I refused to accept the replacement. I paid in for a Lenova 7 3g tab. On switching on the default language was Arabic - after considerable effort I managed to convert to English. However the device refused to read the SIM. After spending over an hour the store salesman could not solve this problem and allowed me to change to a Vodacom Smart Grand. To my horror when setting it up I found the only language options are Malagasi, Dutch and Portuguese. From the Dutch mode it also seems the it will not accept a cell-c SIM which I have as a back up. Non recoverable costs are the down time in booking in phones, wasted time, accessories, extended warranty, and traveling. The answer resort to Small Claims Court?
