Bad service on Fridge repair

Good day We would like to know what to do, we bought a Fridge by Hi-Fi Corporation in Rustenburg, when we phoned them the 7th to say it is no longer working it is said we must wait 4days for a Ref no then still to wait for a Technician. I phoned Hi-Fi Corp headoffice and is still waiting for a Reference number I phoned this morning just to hear they did not receive a reference number yet, How long must a person wait, who is going to pay for the food i had to throw away.
