Bad service and Inferior quality goods at Hi-Fi corporation

I bought a 55inch Sansui TV at Hi-fi corporation Nelspruit in June 2018,2nd week of September it was not switching on at all. I took it back to the store for repairs and they promised to get back to me within 28 working days. After a good month of not hearing from them, I gave them a call of which they promised to call me back as the person who was assisting me did not have the full details to help me with my query. A week later I received a call from the store and they told me my warranty was void as they found a ****roach on the TV, I than asked how much it will cost me if they fixed the TV the person who was assisting me said he will request a quotation and get back to me.

No one got back to me, I decided to go directly to the store, the lady who assisted me said they haven't receive the quotation back and this was a week later, she promised to call me on Monday which she never did. I called them back on Friday the 9th of November and they told me it will cost more than the TV selling Price to repair my TV. I than queried that as there is no way a TV repair will cost more than the S.P as that will mean they sell TV at less than their cost price.

I logged a complain with them on FB and the response I got was not pleasing at all, the person copied a response from online reviews and sent it to me and also confirmed that the cost of repair will be greater than the SP as it includes cost of labor, want would assume these are also included in Selling price of New TV. He suggested that I take the TV for repairs somewhere else. My TV has been with them for more than two months and I'm not sure what parts they have removed since now they suggesting that I take it somewhere else.

I urge people to think twice before purchasing from this store and do not listen to their sales people, as they convinced me to buy the SANSUI brand which I later learnt that it their brand and that why they try by all means to convince you into buying that brand.
