Absurd business practice at HiFi Corp

Just went to buy a tevo LED lantern at the heathway centre, near Cresta for 169.00. I ask the sales clerk what the price is as there is no price on the shelf. I advised them that the web site says it costs 169.00. After conferring with the manager, I presume, I'm told the lantern is not available at that price, yet the web site says the sale is on until 2 December 2019. I'm then told the article is only available online for 169.00. A feature of the website says I can collect online purchases at the store for free. So I have the lantern in my hand, but I can't buy it at 169 from the store, but I can buy it online for 169 and collect it from the store for free. Lord almighty, what ridiculous business practices. How to drive away honest customers in 1 easy lesson.

Of course, I said no and walked away. They have them at Game, and that's where I'm headed to now.
