Bad warranty service.

I bought a Grand i10 in 2018 with a 7 year warranty. The rubber seals on the passenger side window began to crack and perish and have mostly fallen off. I took it to Hyndai Milnerton where I bought the car and I was told not to worry as the car has a 7 year warranty. When I went to fetch the car I was told that the rubber was only guaranteed for 1 year and new rubbers would cost me R1000 and R900 for fitting. I was shocked and very dissatisfied as this is my 4th hyudai and I have never had such a problem, even on my 2006 Getz which is parked outside! Surely this is a fault with the material and should be covered?? I have tried to contact Hyundai to complain but have not had an answer. VERY DISAPPOINTED.
