HP SELLS FAULTY PRODUCTS AND DENIES ANY PROBLEM

Over a year ago now, I decided to buy myslef a new laptop that I would be able to use for university and my business on the side. Being a univeristy student, I work hard and long hours to be able to afford this laptop which I needed badly for my business and university. I went to Makro (walmart) and bought my new laptop as it was black friday and had amazing specs for such an amazing price. boy what a mistake it was. I bought it for R11000 ($923.75)(648.43 british punds). this was not the original laptop i went in to buy so it was a last minute decision. i was assured by the HP salesman that this laptop was better than all the others. now im not a dummy when it comes to computers, so i asked him all the general questions that you would when buying a laptop but with a little more detail. everything seemed to check out. little did I know but from day one the graphics card was not performing properly. I have two graphics cards. an R5 and an R7. the R7 is the problem. so i didnt pick up on this until about 2 months before the warranty would expire. so i contacted hp and was told to take the laptop to the dedicated IT shop. so i did. the technician there indicated that there was a problem and that they would replace the entire motherboard as everything is integrated into it. but before the first time i handed it in, the night before the hard drive crashed, so that was another thing. After the part had to be imported from the UK (which took 2 weeks) it was repaired and i was informed that the problem still persisted. The technician contacted HP on the phone right infront of me and was told thati would have to get the laptop repaired 3 times before it would be looked at by the HP techician. so i had it reapaired twice to meet the criteria for HP. this over all took about a month and a half. then the problem persisted further. The HP techician was involved at this time and so he sadi he was making head way. He spoke to me personally over the phone more than 5 times and said there is something wrong. 2 weeks later i got the laptop back and the problem was still there. The HP technician said he would "escalate" my case to HP's customer relations... and what a joke they were. I waited two weeks before the first call came. I picked up the phone and spoke for a couple of seconds to the representative and then the line went dead as if the representative had put down the phone. So i waited for him to call back. nothing came. About a week later i get a call and its from HP, i answer and i hear this spanish guy speaking in a terrible english. He himself said that he had no technical knowledge and that there was no contact number for the engineers so that i could speek to them. Doesnt it beg the question of why someone who is trying to relate to the customers issue should actually understand the issue and not just be a robotic machine that just says "im sorry sir". I could barely understand him. After about 15 minutes on the phone with him, the result came that they were not going to do anything because apparently the unit was working to specifications and that both the IT shops technician and the HP technincian had in their reports said nothing was misfunctioning. yet they had personally told me that there was a problem. so someone was lying to me. can you guess who? Hp is a bad practitioner of business and should be called out for this. They sell faulty products and when it comes time to take responsibility, they step back and lie about the product meeting the specifications. Their customer relations is ******* and I feel that they should be called out for these problems.
