HP printer not working with Windows 8.1

hi<br> <br> I bought an HP Deskjet 2645 printer last year. I installed the software for this product on my Windows 7 machine and windows 8 machine. It works on the windows 7 machine properly. However on the Windows 8 machine, it refuses to print. I called the call center a number of times and downloaded all the required software several times as well, however it still will not work on my windows 8 machine. IT support at the call center have no idea why it does not work. <br> <br> I have always bought HP products, however this seems to be the last product I buy from you guys, unless this problem is resolved soon.
