HP Omen is a waste

I bought a new HP Omen gaming laptop for R35k from the Evetech website last year September. The laptop died in April which is less than 7 months old for a premium product.

I returned it to them under warranty, it took them 2 weeks to say they could not repair it and they were sending it to the manufacturer for repair which turns out needed to order parts which would only arrive another 2 weeks later.

I'm sorry but any other major retailer would have offered to replace the unit by now. I have been waiting a month and there is still a week or two left according to them. How is this OK?

HP omen is by no means a gaming laptop no matter how they market it. I'm really disappointed with the build quality and support
