HP Cresta

I took my Laptop to HP Cresta to see if they could fix it as it was not switching on. It was in an update loop. Long story short I ended up buying a new notebook from them and they offered to get the data off my old computer onto my new one. They asked what I wanted to do with my old laptop. I chose to take it home as I could possibly get it fixed and still use it as a back up one. So far the service was fantastic. This was until I got the old laptop home and after a few days, my partner decide he would like to try replaced the Hardrive and unfortunately found many missing parts (after using google to see what the inside of a computer should look like). I took the laptop back to the store to ask them what was missing to be informed the RAM and Fan at the very least was missing. This could only have happened at the store as they are the only people to have looked at my laptop. I spoke to the assistant manager as the manger was not there. He was to forward my complain to the manger. This was Sunday by Tuesday I had not heard from the manger or anyone at the store. I contacted HP Head Office in JHB. After a few emails back and forwards I was told nothing appeared out of the ordinary on CCTV. I have since opened a case with the police. I would like to warn others of dealing with this store. There seems to be something wrong here. I personally will not deal with them again.
