HP Bullying tactics - must sign up an account with them to use my machine. Blocking the use of alternative ink cartridges.

I have a HP OfficeJet Pro 9010 Printer. HP force issues onto customers that they do not want, there is no choice. All of a sudden when I want to copy a document they require me to create an account with them. For several years this was not required. Now I cannot copy with out an account. They also block the use of alternative ink cartridges (non HP make) on their machines.
