HP A total lack of support

I have always used HP Printers but recently experienced a problem where I keep getting a message to reinstall the cartridges. I checked with HP Support and followed the instructions to clean the print heads. Nothing2s works, and when trying to get help, keep getting told that I might as well buy a new printer. The cartridges are **********ly expensive, and one wonders why HP has so many different models and cannot just standardize on one size. Needless to say, I will definitely not be using HP printers again.
