Service shocking

I received a traffic fine of R2500 on 26 Sep 2024 at Gouritz mond on my way to Cape Town from Knysna to fetch my children from their father

I am a single mother working for myself and get no maintenance from my children’s father. At 12h30 I was behind a bakkie with his trailer. He was trying to pass a big truck in front of him on gouritz bridge And i was following him not crossing the white line. One of your officers then flagged down the bakkie and trailer in front of me as well as myself. He said I was passing the truck that moved across to the side of the road so we can pass him, on the white line which was not true. I told him the bakkie and trailer in front of me moved over the white line as his trailer is much wider than his bakkie and I was behind him. My car had enough space to pass the truck without going over the white line. Also your officers was standing on a blind corner on top of the bridge where they stopped us and I was really scared cars and trucks are either going to hit me or them As there was no space for them to actually pull us over. The fine is R2500 which is exorbitant and for something I didn’t do. Can you please grant me a lesser amount or withdraw this fine. I have attached photo’s of the bakkie and trailer in front of me which you can see is much wider than a normal car as well as the fine notice I sent them probably 10 emails and made contact to no avail to even look at my case or give me a lesser sentence. This after 4 months of phoning and sending mails.
