Shocking Service Hertz Rent a Car - OR Thambo

<p>- Booked a Quantum for collection on the 20th of April – confirmation number received on the 4th of April.</p> <p>- On their website it clearly states the vehicle comes with a towbar </p> <p>- I tried to confirm with a Mr T Nkosi at the OR Thambo branch that all is in order, he never rep**** to my emails</p> <p>- When I called the call centre yesterday to confirm that all is in order the call centre agent told me my booking for the vechile was never confirmed and no vehcile is available for us, despite having received two confirmations from Hertz already. When I called again when not receiving feedback from Gavin and Theo who apparently cancelled the booking I was advised it was booked.</p> <p>- I called the branch yesterday afternoon and the gentleman that answered the phone told me there is no towbar on the vehcile. When I told him this is a huge issue because I booked a Quantum with a towbar he pretty much wanted to brush me off with a no care attitude. His duty manager (at round 3pm) then told me not to worry the vehcile does have a towbar.</p> <p>- My boss arrived this morning to collect the vehcile as the 10 guests from Greece – NO TOWBAR on vehcile</p> <p>- False advertising and no communication leading to much distress for wedding party guests arriving at OR Thambo this morning.</p>
