I rented a car from Hertz in the East London branch from 6 February to 9 February. When I returned the car they told me that I will get my deposit back within 21 days. I waited for 21 days and I did not receive my refund back. I called their head office in Cape Town and they told me that they have sent a letter to their merchant (standard bank) to communicate with my bank to release my money.

I did several follow-ups and some of the people I spoke to were very rude. To this day I have not received my deposit, its been over 5 months now. When I call them they tell me that my bank has to release it and my bank says they can’t it has to be done by them. They are just ********.
