I hired a car from Pearson Airport on the 6th February. My reservation number was G***1E0. When I checked out the vehicle I asked the clerk if I must fill up before I return the vehicle. He informed me and my wife that it would be cheaper to have Hertz do it when I return the vehicle. He quoted me a rate of approximately 80c per litre as the average price was in the region of 90c per litre. We drove past a gas station on our way to return the vehicle on the 19th of February 2016. We decided not to fill up on our way to return the vehicle as we knew the price of gas at airport was about 10c cheaper per litre. When I received the bill I noticed that I had been charged $3.69 per litre. When I queried this with the desk clerk he informed me that I did not chose the fuel option which would have entitled me to the low price of 80c per litre. He made no attempt to make me feel like he was prepared to help or even look at my case.I have filled in the feedback form and submitted an online form outlining my problem and have not heard anything from anyone. Your staff did not explain things properly and I will not recommed Hertz to anyone due to the lack of interest in resolving this issue
