Rental deposit still not back

In December 2024 I hired a car with Hertz at Oribi Airport in Pietermaritzburg and brought thr car back on 25 January 2025. The salesmam promised that my refund will be deposited back in 21 days

It is the 3rd of March, I have not yet received my deposit. I am being sent from pillar to post. Through emails I have been communicating with a lady in their Cape Town office who promised that the bank will release the money in 72 hours I still do not have my deposit till date Can I get my deposit back só we can cut our losses
