R18000 for a 3 day car hire

I booked a car rental online reference 11SOLZ . The amount was taken of R1302 was taken off my card immediately. The car booked was a Polo Playa or similar. Hertz billed my credit card for a 3 day rental. When I arrived at George airport to collect the lady at the front said she needed to reserve R18000 on my card. I told her that this was ridiculous as I have never been charged a 10% car deposit at any rental company in my life. She then tried to justify the fact that if I pay an additional R300 extra per day this would bring the reserve amount down to +- R1800. I told her to please cancel the car hire as this was insane. Every other car hire company in the George airport was totally shocked with this and said they only reserve a charge of a maximum of R2300.

When I returned back from my holiday instead of hertz cancelling the car rental they added another R1302 on top of the initial car rental I cancelled.

This is **************** and will never use Hertz for me or any of my companys travel requirements.
