Point of contact for the Tourism Industry
I rented a Middle Class CCAR. Wiper, Tyre, Windscreen, Roadside Assitance Waivers - all bought. <br> In down town Johannesburg, during a rain storm, a pothole is hidden by water - and two tyres burst at the same time. 4 people - car loaded with all luggage, on a Saturday night, in a dark street, down town Johannesburg. Imagine what foreigners are told about Johannesburg. <br> 20:00 - we call road side assistance, log call for help.<br> 21:30 - we are still waiting, and call again. We are told, that the roadside assistance number gets forwarded to Cape Town, they cannot help. We are transferred to the Park Station office, who promises he will be there in 15 minutes. 40 Minutes later, after not answering the phone, he phones back, and said he needs a few more minutes. <br> 23:00 - still waiting, logged three more calls.<br> At 23:30, the Park Station attendant finally arrives, in his private vehicle, with his whole family. So there is no space for all our luggage, or any of the other customers - just the driver. He is taken back to Park Station and gets a new car - but this time CDMR
