Pathetic disgraceful service from King Shaka branch

I have been renting vehicles for the past few months with Hertz and have been a good customer and paid as usual before taking the vehicle. After phoning to rebook my vehicle for another month the Cape Town call center took my card details and then billed me for the month. The next morning at 3:30 am I got an sms stating that R19700 was deducted from my account for a ticket with Ethiopian Airlines. I called in and had to block my card and was told a ***** investigation would have to be carried out.

I then called the customer center later that morning to tell them my situation and they said I need to speak to the branch and make arrangements. I called the King Shaka branch and spoke to Raessa the manager. I explained the situation and asked if I could make payment by cash or eft or any other other means as I would only be able to get a temporary card. This lady was absolutely rude and didn't want to listen to me and said that I have to bring the car in and find my way back. I told her that the 7000 Rands was already deducted from my account and she should give my money then I will bring the car in. She was a rude and arrogant woman who said that if I didn't bring the car in she would send someone to pick it up and charge me 2500 rands and file a charge against me and cut the call on me.

Hertz is a ****py car hire service. It's people like this that bring a company name into disrepute. I would suggest the powers that be listen to the recordings and fire this arrogant woman who probably has family in management who has put her in this job as she and the supervisor has no s****s to do this job. I am going to make sure everybody knows what a useless branch this is and also if I find out that your company used my card for ********** activities I am going to sue Hertz for not ensuring my privacy of my card details were secured.

I hope they fire fire these idiots whom are supposed to be there to be helpful and ensuring frequent customers are happy through an emotional and stressful situation.
