Never ever again will I rent a car from Hertz

Rented a car in Windhoek for three days. On return I was told that there are 2 "small scratches" UNDER the front bumper, which were only visible to the attendant while he was lying flat on his back on the tarmac, half crawling under the car. As a 70-year old female and still due to fly back to Cape Town I was not inclined to lie down flat on the dirty parking lot to inspect - especially as I was assured by the attendant that the scratches were very small and would simply polish out.Nevertheless, I received a bill and was charged R4,639.27 extra on my credit card. Various e-mails to Hertz (customer relations and claims) just remained unanswered.
