Huge Overcharge and Insurance ****

Rented a Ford Fiesta for one day. I rent a lot of cars. Usually I end up paying no more than R300 for a 1 day rental of this group, including typical insurance. Hertz charged me R667 for 1 day! R224 for the basic rental, then multiple insurance charges, airport fees, and R98 for fuel, even though I filled up just before the airport.<br> <br> In additional to this, while the usual practice is to AUTHORISE a credit card for a car rental (I rent all over the world and it is always like this), Hertz OR Tambo CHARGED me in advance for over R3500! Unbelievable. And yes, I know the difference between a charge and an authorisation on my card. You have no right to take money out of my account for no reason at all. In such a hurry to charge, but nobody cares about refunding. And all you get from the email helpline is an automated response. Never again Hertz! You still owe me R2850!
