Hertz - Trying to charge extra for fuel - *****sters

Rented from East London to return to king Shaka Durban.

We filled the vehicle at Sasol at King Shaka.

To my surprise they sent an invoice that they filled 280 odd rands. When enquired, they later advised it was an estimate, and it will be adjusted/reversed.

I’ve heard stories that car rental companies do this, now I believe it.

I would beware of renting from Hertz. I doubt they would have adjusted if I didn’t query. Rather hire from a proper reputable car rental company.
