HERTZ ********!!!!

********!!! PLEASE DON'T USE THEM We rented a car in Dec from Hertz Cape Town international Airport at 7:30 pm hence it was getting dark hence visibility was poor. The keys were handed over to us at the reception, no company representative was present to inspect the car and / or complete an inspection sheet with us. We took our own pics of the body of the car only. On returning of the car they pointed out that there was cuts on the tyre and the bumper was damaged that could have been caused by "potholes or hitting a curb" Potholes in Cape Town really!!! They sent us an invoice for R6500, 15 minutes after we delivered the vehicle which is being held back from our deposit that we paid of R8000 . Apparently they have camera footage of the vehicle leaving the depot showing no damage to the car (how is this possible when it was dark only God Knows. After numerous requests to the manager, Pierre Antonels for him to send us the so called footage, he has not done so. Absolute con artists. I see on Helopeter that this has been done to many people and is a common practice for these ********!!!!

People please refrain from using them.
