Hertz rental nightmare

I booked a vehicle over 10 days back and paid in full; when collecting the vehicle I was told that I couldn't take it due to some clause that I was never informed about. I was further told that the booking will be cancelled and I will be charged a cancellation fee. I'm appalled with the service received.
