Hertz rental cars. Don't trust them!!!!!!!

Well, where do I start? It was my first family vacation to George from Johannesburg. My soon to be wife, 8 month old baby and I. Long story short, we needed to rent a car so we chose Hertz. On their website we got diverted to an insurance page that we paid R1 500.00 for only to find out that it wasn't applicable to Hertz. We were sold ANOTHER insurance when we collected the rental car which was R1 800.00. Now we are R3 200.00 down and we haven't even stepped out of the airport yet or even paid for the actual rental yet. We were told that upon returning the vehicle with a full tank we will receive our deposit back IMMEDIATELY! (nothing to do with any of the money I had mentioned before, this is the deposit) This was all 4 months ago, do you think I have received my deposit back? After 20 odd phone calls... I haven't received a penny back, poor service, **** to, cheated. So for hiring a cheap little car because I don't have allot of money and who cares what vehicle you drive on holiday.. I lost R4 800.00! For all those that are looking to rent a vehicle over the holidays DO NOT TRUST HERTZ. They are ******!!!!!!
