Hertz - first and last time!!

<p>Hired a minivan from Hertz for a family get way. Wasn't cheap at R1,085 per day for a 4 day weekend. Hired vehicle kept losing power within the first 10 minutes of starting. Didn't make an issue of it as we were all looking forward to the trip away. </p> <p> </p> <p>What really irritated me is that when I returned the car I get told that there is a windscreen chip, which I thought fine for the R85 charge it's OK, but I also get charged R1,500 for the back window wiper cover which I was not even sure was there in the first place!! And who even checks that when they collect the car.</p> <p> </p> <p>This was my first time using Hertz and it will certainly be my last time. I have never experienced pathetic service like this when I used Europcar, Avis, or First</p> <p> </p> <p>Well done Hertz for losing a customer for life after the first interaction!!</p>
