HERTZ - ********* AND UNPROFESSIONAL!

I rented a vehicle from Hertz at Cape Town International Airport on 15 May 2017 and returned the vehicle on 16 May 2017.

I received the invoice from Hertz on 17 May 2017, and was very surprised to see that there was a fuel charge of R88.79 on the invoice, as I filled the vehicle up at a cost of R90.20 at the BP filling station next to the airport before returning the vehicle to Hertz.

The total mileage, as per the Hertz invoice, was only 107kms - this means that this small budget vehicle used R178.99's fuel on 107kms!?

I immediately queried this, and an automated email was sent back to me with the following:
"Marius ****ment,

A request for support has been created and assigned ticket #211415. A representative will follow-up with you as soon as possible.

If you wish to send additional comments or information regarding this issue, please don't open a new ticket. Simply reply to this email."

My credit card has since been debited, but I have not received ANY RESPONSE from Hertz.

I will not do any business with Hertz again and I will tell as many people as possible about the bad experience I had with this company.
