Hertz Charge for Fuel When Vehicle Is Returned Full

<p>Just a warning to customers looking at renting from Hertz - Hertz quote a certain rate for car rental, but then bill you extra for "fuel" regardless of that the vehicle was returned full.</p> <p>Hertz has pulled the above trick on me twice now - the first time they refunded the fuel when it was queried, but this second time they are refusing. I have the slip from the garage at the airport to prove that the vehicle was refuelled to full immediately before return (and the amount of fuel put in correlates to the km travelled and the vehicles average fuel consumption). Hertz "Customer Service" refuse to assist - they initially refunded a partial amount "upon finding that the fuel charge was incorrect through thorough investigation", but refuse to refund the remainder.</p> <p>Hertz Invoice ********** 5−6</p>
