Hertz Car Rental ****** me.

I rented a car last week initially for two days (16 August @12h00, and then I extended the rental by one day which makes it three days because it's 16 @12 until 19@12. along my travel, I had a bumper-to-bumper accident with a small scratch on the back.

We all know that when you rent a car at Hertz there is a holding fee of R6000.00, when I extended with a day they debited money from the credit card, not from the holding fee.

I returned the car, and the guy who assisted me checked the car and did not say anything regarding the damage so I signed and left. when I was about to reach home I get a call from the guy who assisted me telling me about the bumper and that he will send documents for me to sign, I then said okay.

The same day he send an invoice with all the costs incurred, and the balance was zero. that I owed them nothing and confirmed the tree days.

Sunday the following day I get an email with a blank incident form asking me to sign and return back. I didn't sign, then they called me asking why am I not signing then I told them I can't sign a blank form not knowing what I'm signing for.

Monday the 21st I get an email with an invoice amounting to R6 374, 47, stating that I rented a car for four days. remember they are still holding my R6000.00 holding fee, and remember I didn't sign the form that they sent me.

Today the 23rd I get a message from the bank notifying me that R4 742.32 has been debited from my account, without any communication from Hertz, I don't even know what's going on and no one is telling me anything I just see monies being debited from my account. Hello peter please assist me, I want my money back and an explanation as to who gave them permission to just deduct money without my concern.

Hellopeter please assist.
