Hertz car rental doesn't know what they're doing..................

hired car with hertz for 5 days and i was told because i was driving 100km at an 80km zone i should take the car to the nearest hertz branch and figure out how my family and I will get home. I refused to do so because i didn't want to find myself stranded in Bloemfontein with my family and i continue to drive to my destination. Luther sent out a recovery team to come and collect the car at the hotel which i had no problem with because my family was in a safe space. I initially hired the car for 5 days however I only used it for 2 days and now it's a struggle to get my liability and the outstanding balance back. I wish I could've continued with Avis.
