HERTZ AT THE CAPE TOWN INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
On the 29th of January 2023, we rented a car at Hertz car rentals for four days and we were supposed to bring it back on the 2nd of Februaryb and we did that. We were assisted by some guy called Wesley and he told us that we needed to pay R5500+ that would serve as insurance should anything happen to the car. If nothing happened, the money would be transferred back into my account between 5 and 7 working days of business. They later on took less than R200 for petrol consumption. Days went by and we did not receive the money. I called the guy on the 6th of February to ask what was going on and he said I should contact the finance office as that was not his department. He gave me the contact details and I called. I was not assisted to my satisfaction. I then sent and email and someone called Megan responded and said money would reflect between 7 and 21 days of business working days. I waited and today marks 22 days of waiting. I then tried the finance office a few days ago and the phone rang to no avail. I then called Wesley again and he gave me some guy's number who works in the finance department. I called and the guy said he'll contact their bank to see if money has been transferred and that he'll get back to me that day. He still hasn't and he no longer answers his phone. I even sent a WhatsApp message but still no response. I just want my money back, nothing else. I will no longer work with them ever again after they give me my money. I need help and I am very saddened by this matter. They keep lying to me and making me a fool. Please help me.
