Good Bye Hertz
Our company has an account with Hertz. If you have an account with them and you have Superwaiver on your rental cars, did you know if you dont declare the damage at a police station you are obliged to pay a penalty for being in breach of their contract and the amount payable is R8000. Even if the repair of that damage is less than that amount.
Also did you know that they have their own drivers moving the car from a bay to your pickup location. So if that driver damages the from the storage bay to OR Thambo and they damage the car they have you sign that piece of paper with no damages. Most likely you will miss the damages as its in a dark ba*****t and then when you return the car you obviously wont declare damages at the police station because you are certain you did not damage the car. But to your defense there is none and *** you will still pay your penalty because you are in breach of their new policy they introduced but also did not disclose to their very loyal client.
Then on top of that they will send you the previous drivers of that cars IDs and preinspection forms to prove that you damaged the car. Which is a violation of the POPI act.
Oh guess what im still liable to pay the R8000.
