Do Not Rent From Hertz/Thrifty

In Dec of 2025 I rented a vehicle from parent company Hertz at King Shaka Airport. To date, as of April 22 2026 I am still waiting to receive my deposit back from them which is in excess of R10000. After numerous emails and attempted phone calls, I say attempted because they do not even bother to answer their phones, I still have not received my deposit back. I am of the impression that they are trying to deceive me and I do not believe that they have any intention of returning my rightful monies back to me. Personally I find this absolutely disgusting, even their so called customer service have got a couldn't care less attitude. I strongly advise anyone wishing to hire a car from Thrifty/Hertz at King Shaka Airport not to do so.
