Be aware - pre delivery inspection

I rented a vehicle through Hertz Cape Town Int Aiport branch. I was forced to sign the pre delivery inspection documents in the main office, the top page of this document was removed in the main office and I was sent off to take delivery of vehicle.Zero assistance at delivery bay and I took vehicle as is.Never during rental period was I involved in any incident.On return of vehicle, two minor scratches were pointed out to me for which I am now financially liable. Reading through Hello Peter report - this seems to be a common trend at the Cape Town Int branch. Lessons learned: 1)As a loyal Hertz customer over the last 5 years,they will not see me again.They might have earned an easy R1750 for so-called \repairs"on my rental but will loose on the long run - by chasing away good customers .2)Never ever"
