Absolutely terrible service from a bunch of *******.

I requested a quote from hertz head office for car rental and received a quote of R250 per day for a period of 37 days . I specified to the agent that i would be returning the vehicle before the specified date and was told by the agent that i would receive a refund for the difference for the amount that i paid upfront. I returned the car after 12 days. i requested twice an invoice from the depot ( OR Thambo Airport)where i returned the car and didn't receive anything. I had to contact the head office to get the invoice. Yet when i received the invoice i was now being invoiced to the amount of R582.00 per day with out any notification of rate change. i queried this and was informed that the initial quote was a special rate and due to early return they changed the rate with out informing me. So even after specifying the the car may be returned i was never informed that the rate was discounted ant would change if the car was returned early and no alternative rate was provided. So Hertz just decided to change the rate without notification what so ever to what ever they felt like. Additional i was charged a damage fee and have been requesting an explanation and still have not received an explanation even after 3 requests. It is clear that Hertz is trying to gain the maximum with providing the least amount of service and doing what ever they please and feel they can get away with what ever they please. DO NOT EVER USE THEIR SERVICES.
