Herrie se Plek Strikes Again !!!!!!!!!

A few months ago we had what must have been the very worst meal, service and attitude from Herrie se Plek in Schoeman Street, De Rust, Western Cape. We refrained from writing a review, since some of our terminology would have been inappropriate for some of the younger readers on this forum. However, we are now compelled to share an unbelieveable experience and totally unexplainable set of circumstances that occurred this morning, 29 December 2018. We entered Herrie se Plek at 11.05am to order 6 freshly baked hot dog rolls, only to be told there would be a 15 minute wait before the rolls came out of the oven. Dutifully, we waited the allotted 15 minutes (18 minutes, to be precise ) and called back to collect and pay for our rolls, only to be told the rolls had been sold out. How far-fetched can this be??? How do the staff expect us to believe this phenomenon, that an oven full of piping hot hot dogs rolls are ALL SOLD OUT 2 or 3 minutes after they have been baked ????? Twice we have been disappointed, even deceived by this establishment. There will never be a third time. Vist Herrie se Plek in De Rust at your peril!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
